Some pictures of the area:
GROUND art or land art occurred after 1960 in the US and
shortly thereafter in Europe. Landart is a term to work with the land, which
was coined by Robert Smithson. Creating with natural materials in nature.
It is the art of earth and an artistic movement, where the
work of art is inseparable from the landscape. It is also an art form, which is
created in the nature of the use of natural materials, such as earth, stones (gravel,
rocks, stones), organic media (logs, branches, leaves).
There has been a tendency of converging the art with nature.
The artists create their works outdoors, sometimes in remote natural
environments. Because such creations are not stable due to weather conditions,
so the artists document their work in the form of projects using photography
and video.
Works of art made up of trees, piles of earth, channels,
sand the macadam path, which act as a line in the area ....
Landscaping arts can be made, by selecting a place in the
nature that can be filled, complemented or developed with selected natural
materials: stone, wood, water, grass, leaves. In short: everything that can be
found in nature.
After the artistic creation has been made, it also remains
in the nature ... But not forever, the nature and it's occurences influence the
artistic creations by changing, transforming or even demolishing them...
The basic premise is that natural art does not mean changing
the nature. On the contrary, it promotes awareness about caring for the
environment, social responsibility and sustainability.
It will be a unique experience for the participants of
land-art. They will be creating in the unspoiled nature, the birthplace of
Baša, Kal 16, 1303 Zagradec, the materials will be available on the Baša farm,
offered by nature and with materials
that are not harmful to nature. They will be creating objects, installations
even sculptures. This will let them creatively interfere with the nature
without harming it.
Landart Rules: Teams will consist of a pair that will draw a
random number which indicates their workplace. The teams will be composed by
participants themselves, otherwise it will be determined by the organizer. Most
natural materials (branches, sawn wood strips, bark, natural tiles, rocks,
stones, small tree trunks, rope, clay, wire, metal, ...), will already be
prepared (it will save us a lot of time), and some of it will have to be
obtained by them.
To participate in this project does not require any
professional title, a love for nature is enough and some skill in arts and
crafts.
Since this is a preview project, it will be held one day
only. If the project is successful, it will continue to run for at least two
days.
Participation is free of charge.
